Once there, she must complete an epic journey through the woman's mind and find the key to unlock her consciousness and release her from her coma. She quickly discovers things that can harm her in the Dream-world have dire consequences in the real world, and Sally must swallow her pride to fight for a life precious to the man who stole a life precious to her.

As usual, this was a great story. I love the Just Cause universe. The only reason I give this 4 stars rather than 5 is because of the cheating spouses part of the story. I get that it's supposed to add some kind of realism to it, show us that parahumans deal with ordinary problems too...but come on. So many parts of this aspect of the story imply that we're prisoner to our urges & can do nothing to stop it. That's BS. We're not animals in heat. The only reason this is even an issue for me is that it was a jarring note in the story. Every time Sally let herself act unfaithfully it jarred me out of the story. The end implies that it's inevitable that Sally will cheat on Mastiff with Marsh. I hope Mr. Healy doesn't take her down that path.Product details

This was the best Just Cause so far. I keep saying this but they just get better and better. Sally is an amazingly complex young woman and I am enjoying watching her mature into a leader. This book was such a surprise! Long live Sally and Just Cause!
As always, this is quite a page turner and I kept thinking it's "Fringe" meets Freud. Mustang Sally's "foray" into another person's dream world is very profoundly portrayed. I only hope that the unfaithful aspect of the story does not continue in the other books.

Series is entertaining but frequently seems to detour into infidelity side stories. While overall entertaining the quality has been in decline for the past few books and my interest has declined with it.
Nice tale with character twists.
Another top-notch addition just cause universe . Very well written in few if any typos were noticed . I eagerly look forward to many more additions to the just cause universe.
As the header reads, this is the best Just case book yet. A thousand times better than another book in the series that very nearly killed the series for many of its fans.
